About Dr. Michelle Francis, DBH

Meet Your Provider
Born in Jamaica and raised in South Florida, Michelle Francis is a Doctor of Behavioral Health and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges. As the founder of Pinnacle Clinical Solutions, she specializes in substance misuse, relationship dynamics, and empowering clients struggling with low self-esteem, self-doubt, and attachment issues. Her approach is shaped by her experiences growing up in Jamaica, where she saw the profound impact of untreated mental health issues in a community with limited access to care. As part of her clinical practice, Dr. Francis provides supervision to post-master’s level social work interns, using her passion for teaching to guide and mentor the next generation of social workers by helping them develop the skills needed to succeed in the field.
Her Mission
Dr. Francis empowers individuals with the resources and support needed to thrive, combining professionalism with a personal understanding of life's obstacles. Through a comprehensive and compassionate approach, she utilizes evidence-based practices such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Motivational Enhancement Therapy (MET), and mindfulness techniques, among others. These tools help clients improve their overall functioning, build resilience, and develop the practical strategies necessary for lasting transformation.

In Her Down Time
Outside of work, Dr. Francis enjoys both moments of solitude and the meaningful time spent with loved ones. She believes in finding balance between self-reflection and connection, cherishing the activities and relationships that bring fulfillment to her life. Dr. Francis also believes that healing doesn’t always have to be serious—it’s about embracing life’s imperfections with joy and understanding.
